Penryn, Cornwall- Deepening 7 Week Meditation Course

November 5 @ 7:45 pm - December 17 @ 9:30 pm

£

A course for meditators who have undertaken an 8 Week Course with Traditional Yoga Healing Foundation and who wish to deepen their practice. Continue to observe the natural breath in order to experience inner peace and to change negative thought patterns.

The purpose of technique, referred to by Patanjali as Prana Samyama, is to bring balance and harmony to the mind. In the long term it has the power to transform negative mind patterns leading to profound peace and happiness. Meditation on the natural breath is central to Yoga and Buddhist systems, as well as to contemporary mindfulness models.

The course offers the opportunity to deepen your practice by sitting for longer periods of time. The classes will be guided by a certified Traditional Yoga teacher. You will recap the teachings and progress through the stages of the technique in a focused and sustained way. Breathing exercises and mindful movement will complement and prepare you for sitting. The teachings maintain a direct link to the original instructions and scriptures in which they have been preserved for centuries. Join this group of experienced meditators and be guided in to a place of peace and tranquility in the mind.

Suitable for anyone over the age of 15 who has undertaken an 8 Week Course with Traditional Yoga Healing Foundation and who has a regular home practice or has an intention to re-start one.
