Dr. Kumar in Switzerland

June 21 @ 9:00 am - June 28 @ 5:00 pm

Dr. Kumar leads International Yoga Day at Berne in Switzerland on 21st June, followed by a week of events in Geneva including a weekend meditation course.

Following on from a successful lecture tour last June, we have the pleasure to announce that Dr Kumar has been invited back to the United Nations, this time to lead International Yoga Day Celebrations on 23rd June 2018 and to give a series of talks in Geneva.

Yoga means unity. At a time of imbalance and disharmony in the world, how can the wisdom of yoga be applied to bring harmony to the individual, to society and to the world?

Dr. Kumar will introduce the ethical principles of yoga, and discuss how particular types of meditation offer a practical, secular method to transform the mind to experience deep and lasting  inner peace.

To express an interest or to enquire about the events, please contact Geneva based Traditional Yoga teacher, Norma Potter:

“Yoga means getting on well with everything in life, getting on well with the food we eat, the air we breathe, the environment we live in, the people we live with and the work we do.”-Dr Kumar

The meditation involves observation of the natural breath.
