Thursday Evening Meditation Classes in Falmouth

Meditation on the natural breath brings balance, tranquility and harmony to the mind. In the long term it has the power to transform mental habit patterns leading to profound happiness and peace. This technique, referred to by Patanjali as Prana Samyama is central to Yoga and Buddhist systems.

During this course you will learn all the steps of the technique and will be guided in your meditation by  experienced Traditional Yoga meditation teacher, Steve Braund.

Suitable for beginners.

Suggested Minimum Donation

£5 per class to non-students and £2/£3 donation per class for students

Course led by Steve Braund

Steve Braund is based in Cornwall and has been practising meditation and yoga with Dr. Kumar for eight years, having meditated in Eastern traditions throughout most of his adult life. Steve says that the benefits of practising this meditation cannot be understated. ‘It enables you to realise that source of inner illumination and deep peace that can help us to be less dependent upon the ever changing and impermanent things we seek happiness through in the external world.’ Outside of meditation Steve is an illustrator and educator by profession, running a Master’s course in Authorial Illustration at Falmouth University and is managing director of the independent publishing company Atlantic Press.
